Its funny how pain can inspire one to write..

Betrayal

There are those who would betray you
Make you think they are your friend
But come time to return a favor
They leave you stuck with the short end

Then they go about their living
Without a single thought or care
Being totally oblivious
To the pain that they caused there

Maybe one day God will show them
And HIS wraith on them He'll rend
Until then the one who's hurting
Must believe again in friends
