cry of a broken heart

A poem I wrote in the midst of my pain.... The only way I
could express my feelings....


Oh cant you see my broken heart?
The pieces that cry out to you!
Not one day more can I hold on
Please do something only You can do!!

Useless tears that choke my throat
Mean nothing to those who make me cry.
Please reach to me and pull me out
Before I drown, before I die!!

The water is rising up too fast
Pulling me down...pulling me deep
The chill of fear runs down my spine
Jump in oh Lord! Please take a leap

I thought my eyes could cry no more
That all my tears had dried at all
I lift my head just to find out
That I'm still haunted by my past!

If I was meant to die so young
Please take me Lord, some other way!
If I was meant to cry so hard
Let me not see another day!

Seperated and alone,
We cried the same pain;
We searched for a home,
People close, now people distant,
Don't care 'bout tears shed,
Tried to stay strong,
Tried wit' our own force,
Called out to God,
It came out in a whisper,
Our boat was caught,
Gotta trust, to walk,
On the waters,
Even if... especially if...
It's our damn tears.

In response to my cry, God gave me a reminder through the Cross...... hope you all will be blassed through this....

Under your wings You cover me,
ou hold me close, You hold me near
You opened my eyes and helped me to see
In Your loving arms there is no fear.

I tried to leave but You never let me go,
I left Your Hand but You still held mine
In my heart, seeds of sin I did sow
I turned against You, I crossed the line.

So You decided one day You'd come down for me
You removed Your crown and left Your throne.
You hung on the Cross and died helplessly
All so You could call me Your own.

And with each drop of Your Holy blood
You bought me back with a painful price
Mercy swept away my sins like a flood
And Love took the tears from my eyes.....
