Rose
I sometimes find it hard to say exactly how I feel.
In all our lives there comes a time to put all at God’s will.
There is pain with Love; Pain is part of Life, and sorrow is all around.
But in the midst of all the pain a graceful Rose I’ve found.
It blossoms through the mourning and blooms throughout the day.
When all else seems failing, It grows on anyway.
Its petals never wither. Its root is firm indeed.
Its vine grows from the heart of me. Love is the fertile seed.
It’s there for all who seek It, if only they are true.
Yet who is worthy of the Rose? Infertile ground won’t do.
God bless us with His Power. Lord wash away my shame.
Love be my perfect flower. Oh Heaven know my name.
