You're caught in the moment
You're stuck in your thoughts
You feel you should tell me
Yet you'd rather not

The words are poetic
But all stays the same
You wait there in silence
While life Plays its game

The thoughts slowly kill you
I'm there all along
You go on pretending
Like nothing is wrong

I wanted to help you
I thought that I could
Although I knew nothing
And felt like I should

You're part of a battle
You're living in lies
Don't think you can do this
The rest of our lives
