My religion is a lie.
All those wasted Sunday mornings; wrinkled hands against flailing legs
Angry because the fabric made them itch. All Christian girls wore them,
Made the illusion of good hearted folk more convincing.
The big hats and sharp suits, crooked smiles on the same lips
That had praised God while commiting adultery
Sung the words of gospel as we slandered the gospel
People whom cherry pick what we want to believe,
Wallow around in our sin without accountability.
Hail a jewish woman, praise the dead men, confess sins to a sinner. Don’t cut your hair, marry several women...
Hundreds of ways to praise God?

One gospel established…yet hundreds of gospels followed
No law.
No law.
This is spiritual anarchy.
We boast of our God; the atheist are right - we don’t believe in him either.
Our actions condemn us.
I handed my soul over for damnation; afriad to dirty their robes,
These are soiled.
My religion is disgusting.
Thousands gored to death, fields of blood, women burned for witchcraft
Crucifixes crusaded in red, the righteous slaughtered by the corrupted
A brazen proclaim against God -
Men who think they have the authority of God
Vows of celibacy broken by grotesque acts of lust; immorality pleasing of sin
These same men honored as holy kings. These same people said to be of God.
The devil is in the churches.
The devil is in the churches.
Everything is false because the devil is in the churches.
How hypocritical I was, for proclaiming one God when I honored many.
Glorify the gods in secret.
Glorify the gods in secret.
Saturn, Eostre, the god of Samhain
Our deceptive tongues call Christmas, Easter, All Saints Day;
Idolize these crosses made of wood, symbols stolen from Egypt we call holy.
The children spit on their Father’s death and love what killed him.
Bow to Baal.
Hail Tammuz.
Praise Isis and Horus.
Know the roots before you feast off the tree
For the fruit was forbidden, and with this the serpent strikes them down.
I laid my head on Father’s lap a night when he allowed me to;
From the Bride’s lips fell their truth.
My religon is a lie.
My God is not.

Did you write that? It is really very good, even though I find it a bit disturbing, but in a good way.

I did, and thank you.

Christianity as it stands is disturbing. I don't understand why many refuse to realize that the very religion that was of God, is now holding beliefs and practices that go directly against God.

I think people fear that if Christianity is wrong, then God is false - but actually, they are two seperate entities.

This isn't the first time God found fault with those whom were suppose to be his people, for their arrogant and sinful ways. It is why the old Covenant had to be renewed becaue the people couldn't follow it adequately.

God is definitely real, definitely flawless - but mankind has muddied up Christianity, and the devil is striking and poisoning so many Christians right now :(

Paul warned us this would happen. I don't even attend a church personally because there is so much chaos and false doctrine floating around. I think the missionaries are the ones doing the best jobs right now. I want to get involved in ministry at some point in my life and save souls but I haven't got my own house in order yet.

As I once said to my sister when she said she was still searching for the right church, "Chances are if you find the 'right" church...it won't be right anymore. We are flawed people...living in a flawed world for the moment. Please let us know when the perfect church is located here...the we could all attend and it will not be perfect anymore.

I assume this "poem" is trying to take aim at those who profess to be Christians, but are not; however, it kind of comes off as tarring the entire faith with one broad stroke.

Pray really really hard that you find the truthful doctrine amongst the false ones. The Bible also speaks about the true church of God being established in these days - the truth of the gospel returning so that God's people can be distinguished.

I had to rebuke everything, church, what I thought I believed, this teaching that teaching - I don't celebrate any of those pagan holidays, and I have been so unbelievably blessed.

Surely we have a God!

And he has brought the truth of his gospel back, and with it the truth of salvation.

The exposure of the falsehood was proclaimed in Revelations so that God's people can come out of it;

You seem to have pulled away from Babylon, pray really hard that Father will guide you in the right direction, and you challenge everything those wolves in sheeps clothing throw at you!

The devil is parading around like a lion, just waiting to devour anyone he can.

Let those false spirits have it and pray so hard like your soul depends on finding the truth -

because it does.

I will definitely pray for you, and everyone else who is falling out of Babylon and seeking God for real.

There are already millions of us who have found his truth - all my brothers and sisters are from every walk of life, having rebuked judaism, baptist beliefs, lutheran, Jahova witness, atheism, the list goes on -

We are all united in the Christianity Christ has established, one body in Christ.

The world ridicules our truth because it believes what is false to be true. They persecuted Father, they crucified him for bringing the truth of our God; though they cannot argue against our Bible teachings because they have been given by Christ 2nd Coming. They try to slander, but God's holy word cuts sharper than the finest blade.

Hebrews 9:28

I pray very much that you will find the truth!

" Tearing the faith with one broad stroke"

That's exactly what it's doing, because the faith has become corrupted and I want to point that out so people will start praying to God to find the actual truth.

Christianity is a lie, but our God is not.

There is an amazing truth to God.

Seek it!

The Bible says the perfect church of God's truth will be established. I is God's word so it will be done.

Bible also says the people of that church will be made perfect in the eyes of God; so if everyone is perfect, then the church can never be corrupted and will remain perfect.

We live in a time of a crap load of falsehood - but where there are lies, there is truth.

The popular teachings of the churches are man interpreted variations of the Bible, meanign the truth of God still has not been recognized until God allows it to be. When the truth comes, it will undeniably be the truth.

Just because there is a large segment of people who misrepresent or distort Christianity doesn't mean Christianity in and of itself is corrupt, and I'm rather surprised you would say such a thing.

Christianity is merely the teachings of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. It could never be a lie, only the interpretation or misrepresentation.

You should distinguish the difference more carefully, because you're doing it a disservice as is.

So, are you saying that it would be better if we did not attend church at all?
