Two pairs of eyes, both alike in one mind,
In this place we call earth, a life wonders,
From a meek small town to a lonely heart.
Where a singled soul becomes a surreal mist,
Oh, from one savior He chose eve’lasting,
Death is surely in my favor just like you.
Surreality is trying to break free,
Pick me up, keep me close, erase sorrow.
Sacrifice a lot, just for a little.
In me you fix me transforming thy soul,
Never giving up, therefore, you have hope,
A characteristic that blinds the heart,
Not knowing who to trust on this cold earth,
and mat’er what, one pair of eyes will die.

Deep. I would have a hard time writing something this profound.

It was for a class and I wanted to share what I believed in. I'm proud of what I did.

I'm not a fan of poetry and it's not written in my preferred style but you did a very good job. Are you sure your poem is inspired by Shakespeare? Because I understood every word!

It's how shakespeare wrote. Heck no it was inspired by him. It's the same style used. Called Iambic Pentameter.

I read back in this, I meant as in it's they style he wrote in. It is not 'inspired by him'.
