I wish I may I wish I might ....
Oh how we long for the fairy tales of god
How much more beautiful when He brings them ..
Even if it's Just His finger reaching out
I don't want to miss holding it
Even if only momentarily
I've learned to keep
My hands open with God
Grasping and holding on to nothing
Other than what he brings in
And decides
To take out ..
seeing this in my minds eye
Reminds me of the fragility
Of a butterflies wings
Try to grasp on to it
And the butterfly loses the delicate
Powder and radiant color on it's fragile wings.
Why do we try to chain something
That's beautiful in it's own ability to fly
When it's already paying us a visit ?
There is something tender and sweet leaving
Your hand open for a living thing to
Land on , to allow it to rest in freedom
And take off as it pleases ..
how much more of a blessing when it comes back..
There is a peace , a joy, a rest, and a kindness
In allowing another to remain free.
To watch as a spectator in their dance ..
Teaching you steps you may have never
Learned had you not sat down to watch them..
we do this with some, not making them aware
Their light has increased the brightness
In our very own lamp or we try to
Put into words what we really can not..
some simply allow us...... to be.
There's no uniform fashion or step out of grace
Simply you being you and me Being me ..
I believe God more having come to know you my friend ,
Knowing a little better His meaning
"my yolk is easy" ...
In Quirks and qualms and pokes and strokes
it all just seems to flow.. no jealousy or impurities ..masquerades or masks
How lucky I am to come to know you ..
