When your smile fades; you've had a bad day
all the worries come back; you can't push them away
When it becomes hard to find reasons not to..
your mind runs blank and you don't what to do
so you pick up the blade and watch the red run
Thinking to yourself, "after this cut, I'm officially done."
but deep inside you that that you are wrong.
you become a broken record, singing the same sad song
now you have to hide each and every scar
make up excuses, not telling anyone what they really are.
you wonder if you will ever get the strength to stop
when will you be free? when will you end up on top?
soon enough you will, it happened to me
but you have to find God, for he is the key
because without God this poem wouldn't be made
and instead of a pencil in my hand there'd be a blade
so don't give up, keep on fighting your fight
