I felt my heart skip a beat today
Such a beautiful sound
a resounding echo within
I can only imagine what she must think of me
Am I a fool for thinking so much
Am I a fool for loving her so much
All I see in her is you
and I just wish I'd been born in another time
another place
I long to see her face
The one you created before time began
She is sweet perfection
loveliness guided by your direction
I want to hold her in my arms
tell her everything will be alright
I have to trust you,o Lord
to remind her
to comfort her
to reveal your love
within that precious heart you have given
I pray she will always see your face
I long to see her comforted by your embrace
Such a precious flower
One so lovely should never be uprooted
