satin blue, stare to the sea
surface of porcelain, face so clean
eyes shut, quiet whispers
breathing silent, lead by still waters
break the sound, fill open air
kneel down, following blank stare
waiting upon the waters edge
the seas lapping against beaches ledge
awaken from the slumber
open eyes to see the sunburn
until thine eyes rest in soul
mine eyes restless in whole
sustain and nourishing heart
in that day when none fall apart
wait upon this once for my return
unto the sea I gaze for you to turn
speak soft and remember thy name in time
rest smooth till thine heart rest in mine.
