Notice: This song is a late-night free-write that needs editing and it probably needs more than grammar corrections.
May the you ollowing inspire you to better ideas.

I wrote a note to sing to you, but i could not complete it.
It begins with "Thank you, but you did not have to do it."
Next, there is a stream of thought on how much you give.
It goes on to compare your life to the way I lived.
Here is my case: "You have millions of choices every day.
Yet for some reason, you chose me on the way.
Once was surprising. Twice was polite. But seeking me as priority?
Something is not right.
I mean, I hardly show my love for you.
Though my words ARE many.

I intended to write a song for you, and then for me to sing it.
But, the fact that it is left undone, raises the pointed question:
Do I mean it? The song lacks notes and proper rhythm;
it is in many ways inconsistent. In fact, the only uniformity therein...
is that I wrote it.

Still, however, it is lacking.

So, then,
Knowing that you are giving, forgiving, and gift to me.
In order to better sing this song, I was wondering...

Help me complete it :)

P.S.
and edit

Sorry. I was super-duper tired and yet wanted to write something.
I was awake enough to attempt a song, but too tired to edit it.
Therefore, the whole piece is meant for others' inspiration--in some way.
But, as the song suggests in content and form, it remains unfinished.

In the words of my friend, "It is not a song, but there is something there."
