I figured that was my cue to leave; especially when he said "in 3 days" the transition would take place.
I may never forget the feeling of being cast aside like that day.
But neither should I forget how you already planned the day.
Not knowing what to do, but determined to leave, I glanced at my phone and saw a number I was unfamiliar with.
When I called, however, I KNEW.
Not only did I know the person, but I knew it was You answering my urgent request.
I said, [Buddy], "if you're still open to that idea, I am open to it."
And the rest is history...living, present, actual history-in-the-making.
And I am better because of it, him, You.
