And then I opened my eyes
And saw the vast skies
Far above I see a path
Yet the earth trembled from his wrath

I felt my heart ache
And my body began to shake
The tears gathered in my eyes
Look, I see him rise

Yet he slowly came to me
And whispered softly
"My child, I am here for thee"
Even the pain ceased immediately

He reached his hands to me
Gently touched my face
I closed my eyes
And left me a bloody trace

The world I know is gone
In his arms shall I rest now
Desired dream now come true
"The love I have, is only for you."
