-- Freedom --

to whom much is given
much is required
abundance
overflow
excess
with my God
so much joy
so much mercy
so much grace
His strength and might go before me
His Spirit surrounds and binds my heart
sealed with the promise of glory
through and in your Son
Jesus is my freedom
not a country
not a flag
i live under one banner
i am created for one purpose
to give praise and honor to my king
Jesus is your freedom
not your wealth
not your wisdom
for no man can stand against the truth of His word
every knee shall bow
every tongue confess
Jesus is Lord
Jesus is healing
Jesus is love
Jesus is our freedom
not our religion
not our works
one man
one God
the chains of oppression have been broken
by His Spirit
by His Grace
that reached out to you & i when we were unreachable
when we were once wretched and despised
Jesus gave us His freedom
freedom to boldly come
freedom to finally live
freedom to love without fear
freedom to overcome
freedom to bless and not curse
freedom to shout from the highest mountain
freedom to proclaim
freedom to manifest righteousness peace and joy to all the world
oh say can you truly see
by the dawn's early light
there is a fight
a fight for your joy
a fight for your peace
we have an enemy who brings not freedom
but free doom
but what a friend we have
what a brother
what a comforter
what a high priest
what a mighty intercessor
what a freedom we have in Jesus

That is complete and in truth where all the riches are hidden in Christ found in and through the cross at the resurrection after the death that took away our guilt, that the enemy is at fight to keep us in it, by keeping us trying to stop sin, where we continue to do so.
And when we get this truth eaten in us and see this, then the enemy goes to work in getting us to obey, to bring us to pride and boastfulness. Either way we end up in either self-righteousness or condemnation and either way we are disconnected from giving God all the Glory, and can't minister in truth to another about God just loves them.
If I am self-righteous it shows in my pride and boastfulness, and alienates others from truth that God just loves them.
The enemy can do nothing about my salvation, because I believe God, so then the enemy thus goes about it to try and stop me from telling others that God just loves them, by getting me to be guilty or self-righteous, then truth of God just loves all does not stand on its own, and one is as the Galatians were deceived by adding to the truth as in becoming circumcised.
We are saved by the grace of God, perfectly and there is nothing more that can be added to a gift. Anything added to a gift is not a gift.

Whoa there Honward! You are saying it is the enemy who wrote the scripture to obey? God tells us to obey, the enemy wants us to sin. You say obedience brings on self righteousness and if we humbly listen to God it is some bad thing that requires that we go around being arrogant about it? I don't think those things goes together. Galatians were told that circumcision was necessary for salvation, and God said it wasn't. The fact that salvation is through Christ not circumcision doesn't make circumcision sinful.

I appreciate your emphasis on worship from the heart, but to put these words about sin in God's mouth is just not right!

You somehow again misinterpret God's love is what it is all about God getting all the credit, and no one else whether they work for it or not.
And work for it is not what anyone of us are called to do? This is and has been the mistake of many, to stop this and or that, and never put in the worship services of Love as in Deuteronomy 6, no rather the letter of the Law that no man on his self, with help of others and or help from God can ever do. By man doing what I just said in his attempt continues to be stuck in sinful behavior, and does not trust God fully 100% that God by the cross at the death of Christ took away all sin
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

By this death we are reconciled to God the Father of Christ once and for all
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

This death of being 100% forgiven made us right with God so that Christ then could present us

[h=3]Colossians 1:21-23[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]21 [/SUP]And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
[SUP]22 [/SUP]In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
[SUP]23 [/SUP]If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

So after one see this truth then one sees the new life that God has given us and responds with thankfulness, the guilt trip is over, what the world has been a great deceiver in causing us to be continuously guilty over and over again.
When we are reconciled, (forgiven) at the cross, death is what constituted this and new life is to be received, not of works at all, then there would be reason to boast, but not before God
Works of God's love are nothing more than the by-product of believing God, and thanking God for loving us all as much as God does, shown to us all through the cross.
Thanks for your input, it is much appreciated, and that sight that puts it all together
