At this point God,
At this very place,
what am i doing,
I cant see others in their place?
Is it that im looking to You?
Not yet filled?
I'm not trying to be rude Lord
but i cant give something that wont spill.
i see their heart breaking
Not getting what they seek,
But Im so thirsty that im drinking
allowing You to fill my need.
impatience and ill tempers
thirsting for my soul
ill words painting rejection
while im drinking to come to know..
haughty pride and laughter surround me
instead of hearts that understand,
your quenching a thirst within me.
Wich makes me silent within this land.
As i catch My breath and stop
a passing moment to rest and see
The terror running within the land
Is a reflection of who i use to be.
By your grace am i sitting here
Drinking from your cup
my back against Your well
my Head leaning on Your Love.
no strength to lift an arm
can barely lift a knee
A stranger passes by
and wants a drink from me.
So tired i can not speak
no strength to even stand
i watch them pass on by
cant lift a cup up to a man..
My eyes can only move
i see within my cup
A drop of water looks at me,
His reflection says , "not enough.."
His hand reaches out
His strength beneath my arms
He lifts Me up and fills my cup,
parched lips , His water charms.

Drinking continually from Him,
Hydrates and keeps the soul.
