Moving Sidewalks

We met on a moving sidewalk
going in the opposite direction,
They stopped only for a moment
to ask me this very question:
Why do you go to bed at nine
while we stay out til three?
They joked about my dirty robe,
their clothes so glittery.
Although they jeered me
and my Savior too,
all I felt was pity,
I mean what I say; it's true.
That's because none of them could tell
their sidewalk was heading straight to hell.
