As I sit in my mother-in-laws house
she is not speaking now and breathing a few times every 30 seconds
this morning she said she wants to go home
Home to Jesus
she is tired, no longer talking
she is in hospice care at home
her O2 sats are now 84 max then she is apneic for 30 seconds and drops to 80

slowly decreasing.

it is about time to go home

So I want to just remember all the good things

Jesus loves us like no other

Jesus loves us like no other, O what love.
He is closer than any brother, O what love.
Family and friends all pass away
Hell never leave, never forsake us
Never tires, never waeries of us
O what love!

Jesus is our life eternal, O what love
Ever praise him our Lord supernal, O what love
Seeking the lost in desert lands
He's strong to save by his scarred hands,
Then he carries us home with singing,
O what love

Our complete sacrifice is Jesus, O what love
His delight is to ever bless us, O what love
Attentive soul now give him ear
His word gives peace and scatters all fear
From his word flows the living water
O what love

Give us hearts Lord for understanding, more of thy love
add obedience to thy commandments, With all our love
And may they love be our delight,
infinite joy when faith becomes sight,
contemplating the face of Jesus
Smiling with love.

Reading that reminded me one of my Grannies... I spent one night reading portions of the Bible, she was too close to that passing away, that I felt she needed to bear her sword, and her spear, with my help.

She was expecting my mother to see her "the last", but my mother was unwillimg to visit her and, the more I read the Bible and those promises made a strong noise with the mask she was using to inhale O2, in that hospital.

She raised her arm and I was surprised, because we thought she was dead, in her mind; but I think she said her last aleluya, that night (she was a Baptist and I owe her my first visits to the Church -and many things I can´t forget- as my sister can´t too).
