My dear Jesus my God I love you

Here is a poem that came to me when I realized I was
a Laodicean,
and didnt know what to do,

but when you are down and out
remember

ALWAYS go to Jesus

He will never forsake you
Repent, go to Jesus and rejoice.

My dear Jesus, my God, I love you

My barren tree recieved the rain and sun
and all my heavenly fathers care
It drew God's nourishment out of his soil;
it spread its branches everywhere
But the space where a fruitful tree
should grow I shaded
with leaves unfurled
God's gifts lavished
on me conveyed
no rich blessings for the world.

I realized dimly that my fruitless tree
was useless cumbering the ground
Praise God for in his kind mercy
he did not quickly cut me down
Ephraim how shall I give thee up?
O Israel, how shall
I give the up too?
Jesus still prays,
father forgive them
for they know not what they do.

God will not execute the fierceness
of his anger he will not return
to cut down and destroy Ephraim
or he is God and not man
O how long God has watched and waited
for me to bear fruits
that show my love?
Am I conscious
I'm not connected
with the heart of God above?

Gorgive me father my hearts cold and dead
create my heart as new I pray
and fill me with your spirit from your word
so fruit I bear without delay!
I will praise thee, my God forever
for all your kindness,
and tender mercies
My dear Jesus,
My God I love you,
and your face I soon will see!
