As my clumsy feet, in the mire,
Crush the blossoms e'er I enquire
What am I now going to do?

Hard well meaning hands I keep thrusting
into heart strings of my friends so trusting
I esteem not others above
My own heart that's full of self love

We're no better than those we judge!
Stubborn pride holds fast every grudge.

Speaking ill of some, criticizing
christ in person thus I am despising
Judging others I judge myself
Jesus condemnation is just

With my brethren I'll make things right;
Beg their pardon; love will unite.
Yes, thats what I'm going to do!

I will not believe lying rumours
that accuse my sisters and my brothers
God requires of us holiness
I must choose by grace to repent.

Guilty! I will go to Jesus;
Contrite my sins to confess
He will heal sin's deep wounds and sores;
Praise to God!
be clean! Jesus says go and sin no more!
