The One Gift.....
Here I am all alone.
Nobody cares for the stump in the road.
They walk, they ride over or by me,
or so it feels.
They stomp and trample me
like I am the dust of the ground.
They kaugh and they scoff at me.
At my filthy , ragged body and cloths.
They tell me that I am not worthy,
I am just a stupid person.
No one care for you.
They tell me that no one loves me.....
I am not worthy to anyone.
I feel abandoned,
Left alone in the dark, scary, cold streets.
They seem not to see.
Are the blind?
Can they really not hear me calling to them?
I ask myself that over and over again,
till i drift to sleep.
Then it happend all to suddenly ,
like a dream com true.
It was suddenly light,
and very bright,
I was in what looked
to be a room.
It was warm and cozy.
It was like I was tooken way from
the filth of this world.
THere stood before me
Someone that seemed true.
TO care for my hurt.
He told me to not be afraid.
He told me to stay calm and
that he was the one who has
seen me through all my pain
It was so bright
that it seemed like i lost me sight.
I ask myself ,
Who is this that seems so true?
I keep asking myself
I wonder in some kind of ah.....
At this stranger here before me.
He see'd that I am in
some kind of deep concentration.
He sits beside me
and asks....
"Do you know who I am?"
I am amazed at how bright
the light is....
Then i wonder if i have ever seeen him before
"No" i finally say.
and he replys
"I am the One Gift"......
