-The Tent-
Unfolding clean and new
without any wrinkle without any goo.
slowly erected, first in soft soil
then after apiece in
a bit of turmoil.
Up came the breeze
sending thirsty fleas,
then came the torch
baked dried and scorched.
Finally the storm
which lasted til morn.
The tent was in shambles
all covered in brambles .
so they planted it deep
where no one would weep,
forgotten it lay
until
That Great Day

actually, I'm a little embarrassed by it...just threw it together, I should have taken the time to refine it.

crossnote,

when the poetry just flows,
in our eyes, there are no mistakes.

what is better than the river flowing?

living it? Yes, our life can be poetry in motion!

yes friend, living and speaking The Word brings all
such great rewards in the here and now and in the here-after.:)

Our words are as roses upon the vine and if God wills in the season and time,
we shall trim the vine of every thorn and cast them in the fire,
And God will inspire the dew to light upon the roses's vine
we will find no double-speak in our tongues, only love,
only trust and we shall see as one.
i long for a pure heart, i long for a pure tongue,
to sing like the roses's reaching for the sun.
