I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe there’s a God above
But all I’ve ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It’s not a cry you can hear at night
It’s not somebody who has seen the light
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well, really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah

I believe the true beauty of any woman is not in just her appearance, but also in the fruit of her lips, for by her fruit others are overjoyed to be around her,for she knows where the tree of life truly is,and she stays by him,and she looks to comfort others to draw from the well of life she draws from herself.( john 15:1-17)

She speaks in grace, for she has much, and truth is her honor,( john 1:14)she is a comfort both to men and other women, for she knows the name of the Lord is a strong tower, and she is always safe,( proverbs 18:10) she draws others to comfort always!( 2 cor 1:3-7)

She knows she is always loved by the Lord, for she gives much to others who need him,she is a disciple of the Most High( acts 9:36) She is a true helpmate, for in Christ Jesus she rests like Mary upon his Words!( Luke 10:38-41) And even though she has fault as all do,she rather brings forth right standing, for her foundation of love is always firm!( psalm 40:1-3)

She is the confirmation to any man who follows our Jesus, for she has been made wisdom, and wisdom is better then any jewel, and all desirable things cannot compare with her!( proverbs 8:11) For a man who finds this treasure, has found his own heart!( matt 6:21)

A thousand praises are in the Words Hallelujah, and from the result of praise, and thanksgiving comes the very will of God himself!( 1 thess 5:18) She knows she believes, because she examines herself daily!(2 cor 13:5) And finally, she proves her own self because she is a doer of the Word and not a hearer only!( james 1:22)

I concur sir. Very well said. Very poetic and biblical.

Proverbs 31:30: “Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” Look past the outward qualities that the world says are important, and look at the heart.
