I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving today. It's Columbus day in America today. We don't really celebrate Columbus day but some of us have the day off.

And what am I thankful for? Americans that actually know about Canada's holidays, which proves we Canadians are known for more than just bacon.


P.S. I hope for the day when Canada institutes a national holiday in honor of our bacon. We'll call it "Breath-Taking Bacon-Bites Appreciation Day"

All day long everyone has to express their thankfulness for bacon with their mouths full of bacon.


P.S.S. If I type the word" bacon" one more time, I'm going to go...................... eat some bacon!!!

I work at McDonald's and they have a little circle of chopped and pressed ham that they call "canadian bacon." I seriously doubt we could get anybody from Canada to try it and say, "Mmmm, that's good bacon!"

Thanksgiving was good. Got into an argument over Christianity with my older brother which was great. I was too tired and my memory is bad from everything I've learned in uni, so I sounded like an uneducated christian that doesn't know anything about what she believes in. My brothers believe in outlandish things, so they were talking like conspiracy theorists. Fun family conversations. Food was good. Slept 12 hours last night. Back to normal hours this week :) Get my energy back.
