Hey peeps!! :) I wanted to start this thread to say how grateful I am for different things! Please feel free to leave a post telling what you are grateful for.

I am grateful for my parents. They have taught me many valuable lessons in life. I am grateful for my sisters and brother. My oldest sister, who is a very nasty and rude person, has taught me who I DON'T want to be like. I am grateful for my cat, she is a great comfort to me when I am sad or ill, and her loud, rumbling purr is most soothing to listen to. :) I am grateful for God and Jesus. Without them, I would not be alive (or here on CC) today. I know that I am loved by God more than I can imagine. I am grateful for all of the wonderful people that I have met here on CC. I love you all. :) I am grateful for the pain that plagues my body each day. It lets me know that I'm still alive and able to inspire others even when I don't feel so inspired myself. I am grateful for all the horrible things that I have endured in my lifetime, for they have shaped me into who I am today. I am incredibly grateful for my quirky sense of humor--it has gotten me through alot of rough patches in my life. These are just some of the things that I am grateful for.

Now tell me, what are you grateful for? :)

Just the fact that I'm alive. There's times I feel otherwise, but as you said, the things we go through just assures us that we're still alive. While given this life, I'm grateful that it's in the current state that it's in since there's people who have it so much worse in so many aspects, so it's selfish to want more than what's here. I still can recall certain memories that seemed like a slap in the face that I've said from what is the complete opposite than this.

I'm grateful for the people I've came in contact while being here. Some that honestly helped for me to stay as long as I have since there was a point I felt there was no reason despite how I kept saying I wanted to leave. Next thing you know, there's people who made me glad I've stuck around and made me feel less alone. So the credit where it's due is with many of the people here for simply sharing what they've shared. Also it has helped me to have the interest to want to believe again. I know the rest is up to me and what I decide to do, but if I never visited a site like this then I don't think it would've happened. The power of prayer seems to have been proven from here alone. So I want to thank the community for that.

There's plenty of other things, I'm sure. I think what's already listed says enough.

I am so grateful for our God. Such a merciful and longsuffering God that loves enough to see virtue in someone like the "old man" me. I am so very grateful for the work He is doing in my family, in my children, and in just everything around me. I feel it's so undeserved, and it is, but I get to points of frustration because the words don't exist to give Him His due praise. I feel so small in His glorious blessings. I feel grateful to Him for getting to meet so many of His children here and getting to talk to all of you here on CC. I am just grateful for so much these day's but I'm most grateful that we serve such a great God!!!

Health, protection, my children serving the Lord, needs always met. If anybody saw my budget on paper they would say no way can you make it. But we have in miraculous ways.

I am grateful for my mom and the things she has said, showed me what kind of person I don't want to be.
I am grateful for my rough childhood in some way. Because I would be grateful to my future kids and give them the childhood I never got.
I am grateful that I am able to see smiles, and I am grateful for being lonely, cause when I do find my soulmate I'll appreciate her cause I knew what it felt like to be lonely.

Words cannot explain how grateful I am to Our Lord God Almighty. If not for His grace, I would still be lost and hopeless. If not for grace, I would struggle to make it through the day. If not for grace, I wouldn't have known what is true joy and happiness. If not for grace, I would have experienced what is true love that comes to our Lord Jesus. I'm so blessed to have Christ in my life. I thank God for giving me such a wonderful family. Although ours is not perfect but I couldn't ask for more. I can never fathom His love for us. Thank you, Lord Jesus for dying in the cross to blot off our sins and save us from the Calvary.

Jeremiah 15:16King James Version (KJV)

16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

Thankful for my Savior who died for my sins. What other King would leave His throne to die? Thankful my Creator who sees value in His creation. Thankful for those who teached me God's Word on Sunday's and Wednesday's at church, and lived out their faith outside of church. Thankful for both my family and church family.

Thankful that for whatever reason, God decided that I should exist in this world right now. I hope that I've emotionally touched people in this world in good ways that has made my existence worth it. Thankful that God saw value in man (not by man's own worthiness) to die for us, to see possibility of using us for His good and divine plans, even though we are flawed by nature. We are constantly falling and failing, but we are always called home again and again and again.

I'm thankful for some really good cooks in my family and at my church, who make very good food and great desserts. I'm also thankful for leftovers. :D

A blind customer came into the workplace recently. Someone had to drive him here and help him navigate while on foot (along with his white cane), as well as relay what was happening. Seeing it made me extraordinarily grateful to have all of my senses intact.
