In the entire bible who do you see yourself most as? For me its David 100%. He and I love adore respect and thirst for God more than our bodies need air, He also had a heart of a lion which I believe I also have. He also was very open and honest with God knowing he knew his heart and I am the same, he was a seeker of God's heart and those of you who have known me for a long time probably remember me often saying that I seek the Lords heart too.

I am the Roman tax collector that believed in God, knew he was a sinner and smote his own chest because of his sins.

Luke 18:13: And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Not a bad choice:)

Might seem a little prideful or pretentious, but in recent months, I have very much identified with Elihu. I am considered an "elder" at my church (I was recently made a deacon), but I still get talked down to because of my age. And my response is... REALLY? The Pastor is only 8 years older than me, you know. (It doesn't help that I don't look my age.)

But when we crack open the Word, I go toe-to-toe with all those older deacons, just like Elihu did with those four grouchy old men. I may be young, but I know who Yahweh is. ^_^

I'd probably be Joshua. Not Joshua post-Moses, Joshua while Moses was around. I'm more of a henchman than a leader. And think about all the stuff Joshua saw just because he was Moses' sidekick. I've seen some stuff I'd never have dreamed of, just because I was with the right people.

Will I ever be a leader like Joshua became? I sure hope not... my pastor is only a year older than I, it'd be a shame if he died.

Before 59 I would say Sampson as I was a total screw up many different mistakes but he got it together with God at the end of his life.

Where I am right now at 59 I would say Joshua and Caleb as I strive to have the trust and faith they had in God and say Jesus please come and lets get this sinful world over with we can do this everybody we have God on our side.

Definitely David. He loved the Lord with all that he was and praised Him at every opportunity. He was fierce, but he ultimately knew where the lines were. He had a passion for music...playing, writing and dance.

His passions got him into trouble from time to time, but he eventually did the right thing each time. He always got back up on his feet and God never let him go.

I think David must have been an INFJ too. :) I've heard that he may even have been a ginger.

There is so much I wanna do that I sometimes take on more than I can handle and end up getting frustrated and that's why I say Martha. I believe she wanted to do so much she lost track of what was most important which was simply taking time to worship at Jesus feet.

Luke 10:38Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.*39And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.*40But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.*41And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:*42But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

I see myself like Peter who is very bold to share his thoughts and opinions, who is so quick to do things and who has a tendency to be tactless just as how he was described in the Gospels. However, when if you read his epistles, you can see how God molded and changed him. Therefore, I believe God is not finish with me yet ^_^ <3

John the Baptist - wandering the desert eating bugs attracting gawkers until I have my one defining moment in which I reveal something of God - then am soon beheaded for another's pleasure.

You asked :)

This is a thought provoking question. I can compare myself to David.

When I am lost in worship, singing and crying out to Him, I feel like David.
When it comes to working, I show the same passion & aggression that David showed when he went out to war.
I am a musician of a stringed instrument, like David.
But there are other good qualities of David which I need to imbibe. I am a work in progress. :)

Thomas is a fitting name for me and Thomas is who I identify with. The Doubter. The one that literally has to stick his hand into the side of Christ before he believes it's Him. :(

I've been thinking a lot about this, and...I have no idea. At least not who I see myself as currently.

I can see the old me as Delilah.
And I've been the adultress, told to go and sin no more.
I've identified with the prodigal son, as well.

But now? No idea.
