Neto keen. he he. Gotta say, these clothing choices are much better then the baggy pants that are worn now. Just the other day I had to wait forever for some kid who couldn't walk right because of those dumb pants, I couldn't move my car until he hitched his giddy up out of my way.

I'm gonna get flack here, but, the gal just asked a question. I do understand that using the word boy seems silly for a woman to say, but, it's not that big of a deal, is it? Maybe it is, what do I know.

It's not a big deal at all. It was completely unnecessary to berate the girl over her choice of wording.

Thank you, you wrote exactly what I was thinking.

What is it yall look for in a girl? I want a nice Christian boy so badly, but I can't seem to find one anywhere! Help me out here :)
you shouldn't be seeking but waiting. and while waiting for God's right time you should see to it that you are living under God's will in your life. Pray for the specific qualities of a man you desire as your future partner, but make it sure that you too is enough deserving for him. make use of the time developing yourself as a desirable Christian woman for an eligible Christian man.

Agreed. I do think it's kind of sad that this thread became a dumpster fire of unhelpful criticism followed by derails. I know what it's like to be in the thrall of loneliness and worry, and in those times the last thing I needed was criticism-laced advice and people caring more about their favorite Bible translation than how I'm doing.

We need to do better, friends.

Well, i tried to give some actual advice at the beginning.
And as far as derails... don't the majority derail?

To quote my younger brother one time years ago when he was dumping girlfriend worries on me and I gave some advice and then said I should know because I'm a girl:

"You're not a girl. You're my sister."

I look to meet a woman who accepts me for who I am, not one who wants to mold me into her image; or boss me around like an employee. Been there, done with that...

I want a woman who loves the Lord and will always love and cherish me, and only me. Forsaking all others...sound familiar?
