So i have a friend from South America who loves to see pictures of where i live. So the other day i just walked outside my door and took some pictures of my neighborhood without walking away from my driveway. Well, one picture is from down the street, but the rest are taken from my yard.

What about you guys? Have any pics of the area where you live? This doesn't have to include any details that may give your exact location away.

Where I currently reside isn't all that great.
My folks place is beautiful:

This is around my folks near the lake.

Thanks! I unfortunately, didn't get a chance to get pictures of the autumn leaves on the trees this year, pretty sure the trees are bare out there by now :/ If its one thing that Canada has, its trees. So its nice to capture :)

Wow, it's passed already? Our trees are just starting to turn colors.

Yeah its the cold weather, we've also had some really windy and rainy days, so we have some bare ones.

Interesting. I always assumed our seasons would be the same. I learned something today ;)

Let's see. We have the current view from my balcony:

Photo I took in my parents' front yard several years ago (I love trying to get good sunset pics)

And this is the view from my parents' front yard (one foggy morning when it looked cool):

There may be another post of cinder's favorite hiking spots or not I haven't decided yet.

2. Some near by trees on a foggy morning
3. The lake 5 minutes away I pass going to and from work.
4. My churches steeple and pretty clouds.

That first one is crazy. So many contrasting things. The huts with tin roofs, then some dark green trees, a big grey wall and big body of water, then a cityscape.
And the tree, awesome, of course.
I always love foggy forest type pics.

Well basically they are but, we get colder up here earlier than you guys, so it forces the leaves to turn and fall earlier than you guys, I suppose. Halloween is usually when we expect our first real snowfall and it gets colder from there (normally). In my neighborhood, the leaves are crunchy and ripe for a good foot stompin' :D

Someone told me they are predicting snow here Saturday. I'm doubtful. And it probably won't be much if it happens at all.

hahaha... i bet you have a special pair of boots just for stomping dry leaves. Admit it.
