I've made some great friendships here, and, despite becoming "spoken for", I'm gonna keep on-a-posting here with my friends, if that's fine by y'all. :)

Also, sidenote, have a rockin, holy rollin', blessed day. :)

(Yeah I know. I'm annoyingly happy today. xD)

It's good you've made good friendships! And no, it's quite alright to be spoken for. Isn't that an odd phrase? I can't really find the origins for it. I read something that said that tailors in London used to put cloth aside for clothes that had been previously purchased with notes that said it was "spoken for" or claimed. But "spoken for" sounds.....owned or bought somehow. just thinking out loud....don't mind me...........

as you were....

Wasn't there a christian music group that had that name, "spoken for," because it meant "already bought and paid for, belonging to someone else"? Or maybe that was a christian song I'm thinking of...

That was quick! Now you've made me much too curious! (Honestly, guys, I wasn't always like this).

Yes, stick around. I'm still here because this forum is the best and friendliest part of CC. I'm glad you've made some friends here. God bless you too, sister.

Well I'll tell y'all that I met him here. And if, after he gets off work, he sees this thread and wants to reveal himself, he can do so. :p Wouldn't wanna blow his cover and have him get too many "You'd better be good to my sister" messages. haha.

I know! It was fast! Like really fast... Not my plan at all.. But I experienced some... spiritual warfare last night, let's call it that. And when I woke up, I prayed and talked to him about it and I know exactly where that nonsense came from and why. Ah He is so good to us.

Are you thinking of the MercyMe song spoken for? You and me have to get together and reminisce about old Christian music sometime, you seem to know a lot of the same songs and stuff.

Ok Ok… derailment over.

You may want to call Fenner at 1-800-Married. She's in charge of that Dept. :D

As for our Hannah, who is this wonderful international man of mystery and intrigue?
 :p

Hahahaha I don't know if I'm supposed to say yet! :D He'll see this when he gets off work and reply, if he's so inclined. :) Let's just say he's a man of God, he's gorgeous, and he's very quickly become the only one for me. God has such a sense of humor, I swear. lol

I've been both single and taken while talking on this forum. I gather it's the same for many people.

Really it's just a forum for people who want to talk about things related to relationships and life in general. Just a tad more orderly than misc.

The age requirement helps too. Either way, you're still welcome here. If you say anything against Grover Cleveland, I'll see that you are escorted off the premises though. This has to be a free country and I will not tolerate any opposition to freedom.

We permit you to hang around to police the forum. However... Remember when the Deaf college was all in an uproar because their president was legally deaf, but could still hear a little bit out of one ear? They complained she was not completely deaf, thus was not able to represent deaf people. I foresee there is a time coming when a complaint will be lodged against you, that you are not single enough to moderate here any longer. :p

I still hold to my view that the "singles" classification in this forum is referring to marital status (married vs unmarried) rather than relationship status (single, in a relationship, civil union, "it's complicated" - whatever that means). Even on our CC profiles, there are only two options: married, or unmarried.

But anyway, congratulations on your recent romantic development, hannahbeth ^_^
