SINGLE IS NOT THAT BAD

As an associate pastor and evengelist I tend to get approached by ladies I feel are a temptation to me.
The sad thing is maybe some of these could be possible the one.
But, in Arizona unfortunately the dress code in the desert seems to remain the same from shopping to clubbing to church.
I feel if a woman cannot cover her assets any better than what little she tends to wear just enough to get by I would feel
very uncomfortable parading her around from church to church as my wife and SPIRITUAL leader.
By no means, do I believe these women do this on purpose for where I live it is the norm and has been for quite some time.
Interestingly though, I do live in an area that as a man you are constantly bombarded by all walks of life women
who seem to have the same questions on their mind. As they approach you they have the same attack methods.
Do you have a job, house, bank account, vehicle, and are you single?
It is incredible to think the standards by which these women seem to hold esteem.
But seriously, even as a man who would love to have a wife to share my ministry and vision with
and to share her interests too; I am a bit fearful of attempting to pick due to the fact I have my congregation to think about.
If it is my duty at all times to represent JESUS CHRIST to those I meet THEN I expect a woman to uphold the same standards
that I would ever consider to be my wife, partner, friend, and confidant.
So, you are not alone.
This complicates both sides of the fence.
Thank You GOD
YOU fill all the voids
we seem to feel we need to be involved in.

I cannot find a Christian guy to date.. my church is full of middle aged marrieds, there are no single guys my age. I'm not even employed right now. I'm very lonely. I really don't want to attempt online sites, I went through that stage and didn't find anyone at all, there are pretty slim pickings in my area and I got frustrated and deleted any profile I ever created. Plus so many of them charge and even when I was employed I didn't want to pay money to do that. I don't really have a good enough self image to do that again anyway. I don't feel attractive and nobody has proven my opinion wrong. I don't let that bad self image affect my personality, I am open and love to have fun with people, but
WHERE ARE THEY?

Idk..but i believe God does this often to every person who want a partnet :p
I'm on the same page, that's one of the reasons IM here!
God does it on purpose for something...for something...something good and awesome!
Please just enjoy your time with Him! He WILL send you to your partner sometime!
BUT GET LOST IN HIM FIRST! because..well if you are fixated on getting a partner (i'm not saying you are, but it could happen) so you can hold yourself strong with God and not be concentrated on that ONE DUDE you want to date.

God Bless, we are on the same boat sis!

My old church was just about completely under 15 and over 60. If you weren't called to youth ministry and weren't a fan of southern gospel, you were out of luck.

The usual cliche ridden advice is true: be yourself, be patient, be friendly, hopeful, trustful, etc.

But one thing I noticed is how you view yourself, it nearly broke my heart. You said you don't let your self image affect your personality, but it does. You need to align the two. I'm sure one big reason you're not finding anyone is the image you project. It really doesn't matter how you look physically, although being in good health (and good fashion) helps. What matters is how you feel about yourself. So I hope that's the path you take. Realizing how awesome you are, what makes you you.

I mean, the Creator of existence, this uncaused Entity outside of space-time, created You specifically and specially. That's freakin' awesome. So go with that, and build from there.

I once thought I wasn't something special. And realizing that I am (humbly of course) made all the difference.

Good luck to you and let us know how you're doing.
