A new year is upon us soon! How would you say that yours went? Made a new friend? Find a new love? A new hobby? Do something crazy? Overcome any long illnesses? Try a new kind of food? Learned karate? Any memorable stories from this year? Anything funny or serious can be shared- maybe share some praises.

I'll start this off:

This year I finally tried out an insulin pod that my doctor has been trying to get me to use for the past 4 years. I finally tried it during the summer. That thing drove me crazy wearing!!!lol Nothing felt comfortable about having a tube attached to me. I know a lot of people use them but it's not for me.:p

This year I learned a lot about how we got our bible and its history from the time of the ancient manuscripts. I've also been learning about the history of the church.

New Years' resolution: write the correct year on my checks

This year I made a soundtrack for Carl Cartee's "Chasing after You" and it was the first soundtrack EVER that I couldn't find anything wrong with! Usually I can nit-pick something I'm not happy with about anything I make or do.

Man, 2014. What a year!!!! This year my life has changed dramatically. More so than any other year has ever messed with my life. God has gotten my attention plenty of times and He will continue to do so I'm sure. This is even the first year of my life where I really started sitting down thinking about the faith as it being the absolute TRUTH. It really sunk in.

I've been blessed to meet all my friends that I have met this year. They are all so very strange and a unique that is pure bliss. They are teaching me things, very important life lessons. So on so forth. I'm super happy I found CC as well. XD

I'll be starting my own life in 2015, its scary and exciting all at the same time. But I'm so glad that even tho this year has been the most stressful, scariest, most frustrating and nerve wrecking year of my life so far it has really been the wake up call I needed. I'm ready to go for round two. I can't wait till 2015.

2014 has been a weird year. Dramatic, and stuff.

It started out reeeeeally bad, got progressively worse, and then during the summer, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. It's only gotten better since then.

I learned some new stuff...and am still learning some new stuff.

I figured out that I could paint more than just wagon wheels and mirror frames and jars, but I'm still learning how to do it well.
I learned that I can be supportive of someone else's hobbies and interests and still work on my own.
I learned that I have fears bigger than bees, and that I can face them and survive.
I've taken my over-use of masking tape to new levels (taping a fan to a wall, taping over an entire window, tape, tape, and more tape...).
I've wasted a heck of a lot of glitter.
I got into some minor trouble (a suicidal stuffed bunny comes to mind) and I've been smacked in the face with responsibility (and learned to pay my electric bill on time).
I found out that I can say no to temptation and avoid adding to my list of regrets.
I've disconnected with some people in my life whom I love dearly and can't stand to be around, and I've reconnected with people in my life whom I should have been cultivating deeper relationships with in the first place.

I feel very blessed, over the last year. God's hand in my life and that of my children has been blatantly obvious to me, and I'm starting to recognize when He's leading me to take action, and when He wants me to wait and simply trust Him.

2014 over all was a good year. Progressed in my walk with Christ, both on my own and with others. A few growing pains, but mainly because I took some steps out of my comfort zone. Something I haven't had the ability to do on my own terms in life in a very long time, which was difficult. Will happen much more in 2015 :) Looking forward to it!

Last year was the year from hell, if something could break down it did and I had no money to replace it; serious health problems in the family, a severe lack of money. But this year has been much smoother, things have gradually improved. I felt led of the Lord to make a complete list last year of what I needed in the household and I looked at it the other day and every single thing on that list has been taken care of, most in ways I would never have begun to imagine. Everything broken down is replaced by far better.

Its been a beautiful year for me! Didn't start out so well but I've made splendid decisions in this year like the best so far accepting Jesus as my saviour:):):) ,I've lost a couple of friends but I believe God has gotten rid of friends who won't build me in my faith. I look forward to 2015, with new friends, new life new location and who knows maybe even some true love :)

This year has had its share of ups and downs for me. Overall, it has been a tough year but I am glad that I am growing.

I received a promotion this year and additional responsibilities at work, for which I am grateful.
We completed the renovation at our home. I now have a cozy bedroom for my own and a brand new AC. I thank God for that.
I finally achieved one item in my wishlist - to enjoy at least one adventure ride in my life. I did this last week, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I traveled on a road-trip with my friends. We covered a HUGE distance within a limited number of days.
I had to call it off with my second gf when I realised that I had made a wrong decision. It was The Dream Relationship, but she was not a Christian. It took a lot of strength and courage to walk out of it. I am still sorting out the mess.
I am in the midst of sorting some things with regard to my church and my spiritual life. I guess this will carry over into the next year.

Mine has been rather bumpy, but in the end worth it. Not even counting by the year anymore.

2014 has been an interesting year; lots of growth, but really just the precursor to a bigger and more challenging journey, I think.

It gave me a backhand of a well rounded education but also a huge giant ball of lazy tendancies.
