Is this a question about how to find someone to date, or an offer to date someone? From the phrasing it's hard to tell...

like Moses and King David and other chosens; even the members of the righteous congregation. ;)
Every Christian who is saved, baptized and led by the Spirit is a chosen one. :)

i think there's a difference between chosens and called. but they are both from God:) dating someone who is saved is much secured than a wonderer. But God is our security..

Will you please define what you are calling a "chosen"?

It kinda sounds like she's talking about people who are chosen by God for specific and pretty major things...like say, dating someone who was chosen to lead God's people out of Egypt. But that guy died a while back, so I'm not sure how much luck she'll have.

I am so confused right now.

I believe God calls us all to different things; we who are saved are already chosen. We don't have to do great things, we just gotta follow Jesus in whatever he has called us, either to big things or small things.

Bafa, do you want to be married? Does he want to be married? It shouldn't matter whether he's a "chosen" or not. If he believes in Jesus, he's saved. I'd say go for it too. Has he asked you out? Start the conversation.

I think she means dating someone who might be called to serve God full time, like a missionary, versus someone who is a Christian, but has a job in the secular world, like drives a taxi cab.

If that's the case, then only date them if you are willing to marry someone who's in the ministry. Being a minister's wife is hard. I watched my mom and other wives having to put up with a lot of things, that most women don't, such as children being put on a special role model pedal. Or expected to slave in the church, simply because they are the pastor's wife, deacon's wife, etc. I've also know that opposite can also occur, where the church steps in and takes care of the pastor's wife, but that's not usually the case. So, if you are willing to live that type of life, then go for it. This is assuming, you are referring to ministry called men as being chosen.

After reading the op's post again, I realize I may have misread, however, same advice still applies. Are you willing to deal with a lot by being his wife?
