All I can say is I hope I'm not around a bunch of couples who are going to unabashedly suck face in front of me at midnight again.

I'll probably attend a church party which ends at 9, and then probably just sleep the year away. Not much going on in town (Ottawa, KS) that I know of.

Great song! I've never watched the video before. I always loved the chrous:

Build Your kingdom here
Let the darkness fear
Show Your mighty hand
Heal our streets and land
Set Your church on fire
Win this nation back
Change the atmosphere
Build Your kingdom here
We pray

Also, I may be committing an internet faux pas by using the same .gif twice in one day, but hey it fits!

I will probably be going to my dad's girlfriend's(lady friend..type...thing. The person my dad is dating who's really nice and cooks good food! That.) house and we'll play games, eat food and whatnot. ^.^ But I'll probably bring my tablet and chill in the forums (not able to chill in chat because my tablet, though I've tried, doesn't like flash).

What, and organize it before Wednesday? You get plane tickets a lot cheaper if you order them with a lot more advance notice.

Oh I'm aware I figure it might be something to think about for next year (2016) haha... It would just be neat getting together for new years and be single together without binary codes and 0's and 1's in between

Eh, my plans fell through.

This year is the first year in a while that there is no fire of any kind involved. I'm not sure what I'm going to do to rectify that situation yet. It probably needs to be addressed though.

I intend to spend this New Years Eve like most prior to it, just in the company of my wife this year. Sit up until midnight, then go out front and watch the fireworks on Pike's Peak. Yes, there is a group of men who, every year since 1922, start out the day before New Year's Eve and hike to the top carrying a bunch of fireworks on their backs and set them off at midnight. Every once in a while they turn back due to extreme temps/weather ("normal" temps up there this time of year usually include a windchill between -20 and -40 at night) and we miss out.

**edit** they don't actually carry the fireworks up themselves anymore, they're trucked up via the road earlier in the year and stored on the summit.

Whats worse is they bring along another single who has no chance with you, and you have to put up with them hitting on you all night, and the awkwardness of everyone trying to push him on you when you're trying to push him away.

I got to thinking today while walking around the mall. Up till now I've been looking at what I'm missing out on being married. But today I realized what benefits come with being single. I don't have to consult with another how I spend my money, what I can wear, what I can do, where I can go and for how long. My mom can't leave my stepdad for two weeks because she wouldn't be there to cook him dinner and wait on him hand and foot. I have freedom. And this year I think I'll work on enjoying my life for once instead of striving as hard as I can to make others happy, that don't even appreciate it. This year I'm not going to let anyone judge me or control me. I've walked on eggshells trying to please others for way too long.

Mine might be falling through too. :/
