In life everything is going to pull you in every direction and going any direction at all is going to break the rules, offend, betray or otherwise annoy your own sensibilities.

Remember, you are on your own team first and foremost. If for instance I have a squabble with say, MissCris about which food coloring makes for the best sugar cookies, you don't have to choose between us. You can choose what is in your own best interest.

And if you agree with her, that doesn't make me a bad guy.

But when someone is trying to rally the troops, remember, this isn't world war one. You don't have to jump on the bandwagon or come to the aide of anyone.

We are all adults here.

It's hard not to come to the aid of someone that you care about, but you're probably right. I have too much of a guard dog mentality sometimes.

I have to disagree with you man. And anyone who has any sense at all will agree with me in disagreeing with you, because that's the only sane, logical choice.

Alright, alright... hush Lynx.

Perhaps these are the fortunate ones.
Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

agreed.

However, I see nothing wrong with hearing you out and supporting you in your cookie baking. That is not dissing MissCris or her cookies. She has equal opportunity to share her recipes.

Sugar cookies? meh. I prefer snickerdoodles. I would go to war over snickerdoodles, but not sugar cookies. :p

Depends on the cookies... are they butter cookies? Now some butter cookies, made with real french butter (MUCH different from the butter we have here) would be worth taking up arms for.

I love sugar cookies. I would eat them no matter the color or shape.

Since this thread seems to be about favorite cookies... I have to toss one in for oatmeal raisin. Delectably chewy. "Crunchy" and "cookie" are two words (and textures) that just don't fit together. (Crunchy is for potato chips and hearty taco shells.)

I thought snickerdoodle was a dog. i can't make sugar cook....well, I can't make cookies. The good thing about my cookies is if you can't eat 'em you can always waterproof your foundation with 'em.

when my mom was 11 she made her first batch of biscuits.
i guess they didn't come out too well, because one of her brothers
literally used one for a doorstop for a week.

foundations must be waterproofed!

Sometimes loosing is really winning.

Rev 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."

"loosing?" as in unleashing? releasing? Release the Kraken!!!
