I find it interesting as technology advances people are taking more interests in foreign cultures. For example, myself, I am a huuuge fan of South Korean culture, I am studying the language (안넹!!), am a big fan of the music (SNSD and Super Junior ftw) and even enjoying watching their dramas and movies :) actually i am a large fan of asian style (many items of my clothing are asian fashion, which makes being 6ft4 a nuisance as asian clothes are for tiny peeps)

so anyone here got any 'foreign culture' interests? :)

Oddly enough, I am a Korean with no interest in Korean culture except for what friends wish to share with me. I have actually had some very sweet people, both here and in real life, stop me to ask me about Korean culture and I try to tell them, "You know more than I do," because I wasn't raised in it.

However, I do have a certain fascination with the Italian high Renaissance...

Or maybe I'm just fascinated by pasta. Sometimes it's hard to tell.

I love traveling and getting a taste of other places and cultures but there isn't any particular one I've been trying to absorb.

I do think it's wonderful and amazing that so many people seem to be so interested in Korean culture these days. I am constantly asked if I'm from the North (ahem) or the South... or as my poor sister-in-law gets asked, "Are you a good Korean or a bad Korean?"

I started to get into Japanese anime...and the Japanese adaptation of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" I now know what "seikai", "zannen", and "sen man yen" means. It's also cool when the host takes a couple minutes in silence after the "final answer" before giving his verdict.

Well I don't know about the foreign ones but the ones here have a big white spot on their wings. I think they're the turkey variety. They keep things pretty cleaned up around here. They like the possums and armadillos and deer and such. Now, I will say they usually try and eat just the insides of the armadillos and they leave the shell and the tail which is a very odd thing to discover. Very weird looking. And then one time my sister comes in my room and yells "wake up - I think a bunch of vultures are perched on the roof!!" I thought "how long have I been asleep?'

Anyway, I don't know about foreign vultures.

oh..............cultures.
my bad

India itself is a land with so many cultures that anything other than mine is AS foreign to me as another country's culture. Internationally, I am a fan of American and Australian culture and I'm learning about each of them. :)

When it comes to food, I am a fan of any cuisine that is NOT spicy. :p

I'm rather a fan of japanese culture. Their Historical culture not what they call culture today. not into manga or any of that other quazi-cartoon stuff. I'd love to see Osaka castle if I ever get the chance.

I like talking to people from different countries, but I'm not really into any particular culture. I do love eating Asian food though, especially Chinese and sushi...if that counts.

Well, I love how you Scots speak :D Especially the r's (Dunno why :p ) , and I am amused by the whole bonfire night celebration (as no one seems to know whether they are celebrating the attempt or the fact that it failed)

Bonfire is very big in Sussex in the south of England and commemorates the attempt, celebrating its failure. I think everyone knows it is because they burn an effigy of the Pope. England has a history of violence between Protestants and Catholics and the Catholic plot to blow up Parliament was one event.

I like (some) Medieval culture and some Victorian culture (especially Victorian Medieval revival culture). That's sort of foreign but you can't visit.
