I get the loudest speakers I have (200 watts) connect a music player to them (usually my phone) put in earplugs (to protect my ears... I like my good hearing) and crank it up!

Why crank it up if I'm going to wear earplugs? Mostly because I can.

What are you cranking up????? Is it the loudest Christian you blasted through the house?

Well I'm not going to blast old gospel from records. Something more modern is much more suited to blasting at full volume. Building 429, Shachah, MOC, some of the older Kutless albums perhaps.

I have been shot out of a cannon. That would probably be the best way to blast a loud Christian through the house.

Are we talking music or Christians here? Cause your first post didn't have anything about music in it....You are really confusing the Blond here.

You're 30 and starting to worry you will never find a wife? I'm 36 and being single is GREAT! My money is... MY money! My time is... MY time! If I want to let the dishes pile up it shall be done. If I think they've piled up long enough and it's time to wash them, it shall be done.

If I want to BLAST SOME MODERN CHRISTIAN THROUGH THE HOUSE ON MY LARGEST SPEAKERS... it shall be done! :D With earplugs.
That last line, the one in bold and underlined, that was about music. "modern christian" refers to music. Were I referring to a person I would have said "A modern christian," not "some modern christian."

I prefer some of that old time religion myself.

I sure got enough of that too. Bluegrass gospel, old southern gospel, old contemporary... um, contemporary christian... how can it be old and contemporary at the same time? Anyway, I got a lot of old stuff. If I want to play that I turn it down to normal volume and take out the earplugs.

The blasting of music throughout the house is not a common thing, as I don't really like loud noise. It's just a burst of exuberance, something to which I am susceptible from time to time.

I usually don't bother with the earplugs.

It's a good day when things start falling off of shelves. I can't do that too often though... my ears don't like it.

Grace, please be wary of his curiosity. We all know what happened the last time we let him set up a pyrotechnic show in our forum. Our poor Lynx still carries the scars of it.. :p

Though I enjoyed a good laugh myself...

You must have me confused with someone else... perhaps Jonah? Felines have the agility to dodge swiftly. None of the whizzing, flaming missiles ever hit me.

I've been told that there's no better time to do something you've always wanted to do than when you are single. So if there's a goal, dream or hobby that you've been wanting to do but haven't done it yet, do it now! Because when you are married, you won't have time or maybe even money to do what you want to do.

If you have kids, then you will always come third. Your spouse, your children and then you. (I say spouse first because some people say we should put our kids first, but what is best for the kids is for their parents to have a stable marriage)

So think about that. It's not easy being married, I've never been through it, but I've seen my mom go through two unsuccessful marriages. It's tough and if you're not ready, it's best not to jump into it. Movies and television will tell you one thing, but they are only showing you the good part. There's a lot of sacrifice to marriage. A lot of sacrifices that you don't have to make right now that you are single.

So please enjoy your singleness. It's a great time to develop your relationship with the Lord and really only he can cure loneliness. :)

I have been single and still am since I've been born unless you count kindergarten (s/p) through second grade. But if you do not count that then I've been single for my whole life. I start to feel really depressed, alone, and socially awkward. Yet, as I was wanting to meet a lady of my age... But I was wanting not needing, but now with the thought I know I am not alone and I know God loves me, and that is how I comfortable with being single. But I was always talking about myself, and I like I am talking in this post. But I found out I recently have stop talking about myself and start to focus on the individual(s) I am talking to at the time.

Thanks Guys, ladies too lol. I gotta admit I feel a bit better, and I already have a dog. I must say the remark about blasting the music with ear plugs was funny. I should be more thankful Im single, but I really dont think the single life is for me.
