I wasn't really sure how to go about this with out sounding desperate but here I go: I just recently came out of a relationship but I'm at peace with the transition to singleness. However I couldn't help but to notice that I have only one true friend now & she is so caught up in her own life that she hardly has time for anything else. I'm looking for cool like minded people who loves God and is looking to get know new people, share interest and support :)

I think you came to a good place. There are a lot of really great people here :) If you get plugged in enough, you'll figure out what I'm talking about.

Thanks ChandlerFan, I signed up a minute go but then stopped using it. However I'm back to give it another try to see if it works for me.

Welcome to CC singles. It's a pretty good place. Jump into some discussions and hopefully you feel at home in no time at all.

Hi Warrior,

I'm dealing with a sore throat but thought I'd reply. All of my friends are married. Married couples are nice but they already have a playmate so I don't hear from them unless they find themselves mate-less. I don't mind being single, but I grow tired of being put on hold until they need someone.

I'm sorry you have a sore throat. I hope you feel better soon. That has to be kinda awkward at times being the single one out of married friends. I have a feeling that that might happen to me lol

It has never been awkward because I'm friends with the husband and wife, but sometimes I feel a bit used. The wife wants company until the husband returns from work, whatever, then I'm left stranded. I believe God has used these friendships in a powerful way in my life, and I hope He uses me in their lives as well.
