the sad part is that the people who say they love you the most, make judgements that end up hurting and harming

this might sound like such a small, trivial thing, but awhile back i had my picture taken at church and on the outside i look beautiful, youthful

and that picture sits in my grandmother's house and she looks at and prays and judges what has been happening in my life

but GOD help me her judgements are all wrong, and she doesn't know what harm she is causing

and she would never listen to me, she would just make some stupid comment about "you're crazy or too this or too that"

people do not know what eternal power they have
God created the earth with a word, don't they know what their words do to the life within

GOD get me to a normal place please

I agree that words are very powerful, which is only one of many reasons why God tells us to avoid certain phrases or expressions (including the taking of His name in vain). I'm sorry to hear your grandmother is condemning you; I've lived with many in my own family who are like that, and it sucks. My prayer is that your grandmother will realize what her words are doing to you, and make amends for them.

Father in the name of your Son Jesus touch asamanthinketh.
She is so special. She is your light. She has wonderful things to do in her life. She will not be defeated. She will learn how to control her mind of ugly thoughts. She will get past the hurt that is around her. One day she will be used to help other who feel hopeless because she is coming out of this the victor.

Oh gosh.. I know how that is.. I'll be praying for you my friend! I hope that God helps you get over what she has said.. and I agree! People these days and before, just don't understand how powerful words can be! Yet they all tend to mis use em, I admit! I did that too.. I'm not ashamed.. cuz now I can look back and say what a fool the devil made me and/or myself made me.. Well look at God! Every night he tells the moon "Hey moon, go up there until it is morning for a(certain area)" and the moon does it. Words are just so powerful, that's another reason why some people say instead of the Bible, they call it God's Word or the Word.. even if there are many words! All together? It's one WORD... and words are powerful. So amen to you and that! God bless!:)

I know its easier said than done but we shouldent worry what people think ,we should keep our sights on what God thinks.We are to live to please him cause the world will allways find something rong with us.I have been in situations where people judged me all the time it used to tear me apart and anger me so much,then God showed me that the world will never change I had to change,We waist to much time being affended and it henders our walk with Christ ,and besides that judging is a sin to so therefore she is no better than you .I hope this helps in some way for thats my purpose .God bless you and Give you peace about this situation Amen.
