From the Urban Dictionary:

toodaloo

The way old people say goodbye.

Toodaloo my darling.

From Wordreference.com:

Too-da-loo is from "A tout a l'heure" , a French expression meaning "later". It is pronounced: Ah TOO ta lure, so the English mash up is too-da-loo.

OH my gosh! Our English language is full of 'yesteryear" expressions and words that are becoming extinct by the day. Example: Davenport (Couch), or Excuse me, I have FLUFFED (passed gas), "Mark my WORD", "Bless your pea pickin' heart" (meaning: You are so lower classed), "He/she is TOUCHED" (meaning: NOT quite right in the head), "You are Spastic! (meaning: not fully formed), "Look at those PICKANINNY's (poor SOUTHERN black children), "From your lips to God's ears" (meaning: GOD is listening to every word you just said), "It belongs to be! (meaning: RIGHTLY SO), and here's one my grandmother used to say "My, oh my, look at that fancy FROCK!" (meaning: a classy dress)

My mum uses the word "frock" for dress and it's drives me nuts, I really dislike the word "frock" LOL

Actually, zeroturbulence had typed this up while pondering that very notion, and as he was editing the text he inadvertently pressed "save" instead of "preview", and since this was the first post in a new thread, he could not delete it. He is still undecided...

..but you do get points for being so keenly observant.

Are you having an unusually bad day sad ninja or is this stuff that's been building up for a while?

Just tired of dodging bullets, which is what I've been doing here all this time. One wrong word, or one attempt to defend myself and people start jumping down my throat. I sure don't need any of that!

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23)

Dodging bullets, darts, poisoned tipped spears is a daily occurrence here, when it gets to the point of being upsetting, that is what the "Ignore" option is for.............magically, all those things disappear......well, you can't see them anyway, and that is surely a relief........has been for me.

Don't you dare leave!! I came on here looking for encouragement because I ended a very bad relationship a couple months ago and get kinda down. I feel hopeless at times feeling like does God really have a good Godly man for me? Is it too late for me etc... Anyways I came across your thread how to make yourself more attractive to women. It made me laugh and

Zero, I hope you don't leave. I understand what you're saying about cc though. Sometimes people can be thoughtless with their words.
