I already feel the answer is no but I wanted to hear your thoughts. Is it setting the bar too high if I only consider dating women who have a current relationship with Christ. As of right now im not dating but you know how it is being single. I still always think about what kind of women I want to date when im ready. Thoughts???

Also, I would like it to happen naturally , I dont want to date just because im single, i want to date as a result of an already established friendship. Is that unrealistic???

WhatIsMan, no, I don't think either of those things are unrealistic. A woman to have an existing relationship with Christ as well as a romance blossoming out of friendship.

Dating a woman who already shares your faith and that you already know seems like the bare minimum of wisdom not setting the bar too high. Might mean fewer dating options but will likely also mean less heartbreak in the long run.

I would like to say "set the bar high" Its probably the most important step in life is to meet that "special someone" & get married eventually. Starting a friendship with the possibility of marriage, & having the Lord as the foundation of your relationship is so important. Its so easy to compromise when it comes to dating, just allow the Lord to guide you in this....
