Hi Singles...I joined last night and have been reading some posts here and there, but are many of you divorced? I've been divorced for over two years and I'm struggling with dating. I've never enjoyed dating and nowadays men just want to jump from acquaintance to sex partner too quick for me. Plus I'm scared of being hurt again...
Any words of wisdom or advice would be appreciated!

I'm not, but there are a number here who have been divorced. Just give it some time and they'll start posting.

Also not "divorced" here, but I understand where you're coming from. Dating is not for everybody. Guard/watch over your heart (Proverbs 4:23) is the only "advice" I really have. Romance can be a complicated issue.

Yes, I am...

Have been divorced quite a long time, over 10 years now and haven't remarried to date, however, would like to some time in the future. The Lord showed me very shortly after my divorce that He had someone for me, but as yet this "one" has not appeared as yet, but I know the Lord is "Faithful and True", so His promise will have a fulfillment, so I just have to be patient and wait!

I was divorced in 1976 after a four year wait and immediately remarried. We are still gong strong 39 years later.

I'm going through a divorce. Just waiting on the final court date. I hate the situation (because I didn't get married to get divorced) but it is a blessing in disguise honestly. Moving forward one day at a time.

I am divorced and after trying again and again to reconcile I finally ready to accept that there is something better out there for me...it's been hard for me to be alone but with time my confidence builds

Remarry? Sure.... one day. Because it is not good for man to be alone. And honestly who doesn't want to find the one true love? However I am not interested in "dating" or casual stuff.
Plus having kids really fills a void in my heart even if they don't live with me. And it leaves no time for dating LOL
