Hello christian brothers and sisters.

I am starting a petition for a private male space for our brothers in christ who need help with personal issues that do not need to be broadcasted publicly, let alone to the whole wide internet.

Currently as it stands, our sisters in christ already have a safe and private space setup for them so that they can talk about their personal issues and get the help and healing they need. Our brothers in Christ, are currently without such a safe space.

Its has got to the point where topics of "men only" have come up here because there is no safe space for our brothers in Christ who do not want to make everything public. I believe this is a win/win situation for everyone.

Its a win for our brothers in Christ, because they can get the help, healing, and wisdom of all the men around them they need. Its a win for our sisters in Christ, because they get stronger, healthier men to help them when the time comes, AND its a win for Christian Chat because the more men who can get help and seek refuge here, the more popular and helpful it will be to men and christians in general.

For example, a brother in christ may come in here with a porn addiction but doesn't want to broadcast it to the world and wants to get help from it. He can go to the private safe space and get the help he needs. He can then turn around, and help all the lovely women in his life.

It has been said by men and women that someone should petition for a male only space for our brothers and since no one has started one yet, I decided to go ahead and do it.

Here is how it works, if you support it, please post and say you support it. I'll consider it "signed" and endorsed by you. If you don't support it, let us know why you think your brothers don't deserve a private space to talk about personal issues they need help with. Once enough support is garnered, I will submit the petition to the Administration for approval.

I expect more women to sign this then men, because I know they love their brothers in Christ, and want to get them as much help as possible. :)

So please, help support this so we can help our brothers in christ that Jesus paid a high price for. These are our brothers, husbands, friends, and countrymen who defend our nation with their blood.

God bless.

In the meanwhile; Go to the top of page and under "community" drop down to chat groups. Click that and make your own group!
Problem solved!

That almost sounds like you're villainizing the opposition.

I endorse this idea, but I'd like to point out: We have a men's ministry chat room. We have chat groups. We have the option for private messaging. We have outlets for men here. (We also have a Suggestions forum for this type of thing.)

Men, if you need this, then I hope site staff acquiesces. Lord knows I only want us to grow together and have fellowship.

Isn't something like that created and controlled by ONE single person?

Where is this room? I have looked, and I have never seen one.

There is already a men's private chat group.

We don't petition our demands on this site. We make requests. If the site owner decides it's necessary he will add it. If not he won't.

This is is not the appropriate section to ask for such requests. We have a suggestions area where we can post our ideas or suggestions (not demands).

Many Christian sites have no, or dead, men's areas. Which I'm presuming is the reason why there isn't one here either.

This is not a new request anyways.

Are you, OP, a paying member of this site to try and pressure the owner into giving you what you expect of him?
