Huh? Do you mean me? ... I don't think fornication is a tiny sin...

I don't understand what you thought I was saying. Or maybe I didn't understand what I was quoting. I'm sure there's a misunderstanding in here somewhere because I don't understand.. Please do explain
No, I was not talking about you. I was trying to add to what you said—to supplement your comment. I was agreeing with you and taking it a step farther.

There is not such thing as a big or small sin. There is just sin. The bible mentions something about an unforgivable sin, but I don't think it ever mentions what that sin is. I could be wrong.

I agree, and wanna add that there is no tiny or huge sin. They are all sin to God. Even the guy on the cross next to Jesus (he murdered people, wich 'feels' to me like a huge sin) was forgiven and went to heaven to be with Jesus. :)
However, it is a sin to look lustfully at another person (Matt 5:28). I think you will find the consequences for that sin far less detrimental than if you fornicate.

I’ll repeat what I told Belgian Pilot:

It is a sin to look lustfully at another person (Matt 5:28). I think you will find the consequences for that sin far less detrimental than if you fornicate.

Res,

I absolutely agree with you. I did not wish to say that I am perfect. I also feel like sins are 'small' or 'big'. I think however that God judges in a way we don't fully understand, and we have to trust that He is always correct :)

Did you guys have the same feeling when you heard the story of the workers on the land? The workers that were hired later on the day had to work a lot less time. Yet they earned the same amounth of money. As a kid, I always felt like God was not right with this one. That just wasn't fair!!! I have to admit that, even though I understand what God meant, and even though I know He is right and honest and correct, I keep on having difficulties with that.

Yes, in my eyes, looking lustfully at another person would seem less bad then other 'heavy' sins, like murdre, divorce, ... . And I know I'm wrong.

Thank you for this thoughts Res. :)

I think the consequences of fornication are very severe.

The people who were hired late in the day did not have it any better than the people who were hired early in the day. Why, then, shouldn’t they get the same pay as those who were hired early in the day?

So do I. The fact that God mentioned it that often in the Bible, means something.

- Answer as a 'normal' human: Because they worked a shorter period then the first workers
- Answer as a human who read the Bible: I know, you're right :)

I'm not spending a lot of time thinking about it. I would like to be married again. I do think their are good men out there. Just not in my town that I know of.
I just found a tick on my leg. There is snow everywhere. The only thing I can think of is my daughter has cats. Going to tell her to check the kids and the cats when I see her a lil later. We are going to a thing at the church.
