I am sure many of us here in the singles forums are feeling like this single time is a time for preparedness for the future, marriage, family, and such. Lately I have been reading blogs and articles touching on how Christ is using this time to strengthen us, and I have to say that I love the idea that this time isn't just about waiting. There is always a purpose, and to dutifully engage in the tasks at hand right in front of us with our best efforts will please the Lord. So if you are a student, be the best student you can be! If you are a cashier, be the very best cashier! ...and so on. The tasks in front of us will lead to something better, if we just complete them. :) This excites me.

How is God preparing us/you? Bible verses welcomed, teaching welcomed! I am but a young fairy, learning :)

He's probably gonna add some pepper, some seasoning and spices. Maybe a spritz of lemon juice and chicken broth for extra flavoring. Most likely put us in between some marble rye bread, among the mayonnaise, smoked ham, tomato slices, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, sweet pickles, and melted mozzarella.

That,

... or he'll coat us in some chicken flavoured shake'n'bake, bake us for a good 45-60 minutes in his heavenly oven and let us sit for a good 3-5 minutes before dipping us in some barbaque or sweet'n'sour sauce.

I dunno. Whatever he's doing, it's making me hungry.

agree with you sister :)

Let Go and Let God moves in our life .
God knows our value than anyone else and He wants the best to all of us ^_^

Now that I'm Single im using my singlehood to do ministry such as being a Leader in Women's , Music and Youth Ministries
and most of all being a bible study leader it makes me grow more in spiritual aside from my daily walk to Him and I'm developing Leadership and social responsibilities that I don't like before.

I know when seeking God first and entrusting Him my future I'm in a good path/direction/ways.

God's really working through me through different church ministries. For the longest time, I've always felt I needed to be in a relationship to be happy, and I always got mad when I saw others getting in ones or getting married. Now, I'm perfectly content where He has me right now, and as you mentioned as being a student, I'm a student under Him. He's guiding and teaching me through life, as He is all of us, and I'm starting to finally give Him my undivided attention, and want to see where He is going to bring me next.
