You dont have enough wisdom for me to garner your council. You cant even refrain from blaspheming the Lords name.
I believe the thread title is "Share random advice about dating", not "Criticize other people's random advice about dating." You seriously need to treat other people the way you want to be treated.

Whenever I see a thread title, I just assume "criticize" is implied.

Don't eat yellow snow.
I must conclude this is wiser than just dating advice...!!.

I notice how today it seems to be about "Finding" the right person in dating. Biblical dating is more about "Being" the right person to serve my future spouses needs and be a God-glorifying husband or wife.

Today intimacy precedes commitment, biblically it's the reverse.

Today our culture tells us [which our culture on dating really began in the 1960's as it is understood in it's doctrines excepted today] that the way to figure out whether I want to marry someone is to act like we are married. If we like it, we make it official. If we don't we still go thru, what I call "Divorce-by-Osmosis" which is to say the emotional and physical pain associated in the break-up still permeates deeply like that of an actual divorce. In biblical dating Scripture guides us as to how to find a mate and marry, and the Bible teaches, among other things, that we should act in such a way so as not to imply a marriage -level commitment until that commitment exists before God.

But I also agree totally with you too.....Don't eat yellow snow! Smile.

I would say pray and seek God's provision over each other so that he is made front and center from the very beginning of the relationship.

Btw, I know it's not random advice, so please forgive me
