I believe in heaven there is no amniosity because we forgave those who hurt us. When we enter through those gates into his presence he will say, "well done my good and faithful servant". That means we lived according to how he wanted us to. So when we enter in we are loved and at peace with those around us so we will get along. It is exciting if you think about it. So much more love than we could ever comprehend.

honestly, worrying about harmony in others' lives is the last thing on my mind. : )

as piper wisely shared once and i'll attempt to paraphrase, part of our overall lack of desire for God and finding contentedness in Him is because we are too busy dining upon the dinner table the world has for us. i have always found that the more effort and time i spend on things that drag me away from Him, the less content i am with everything else that i'm unsure of, or feel insecure about.

heaven will never be a place of insecurity or boredom. we will be busy because we'll have jobs, and fulfill purpose but do so without the distractions that come from a world that is far from His purpose and ways. in the meantime, i kind of feel like i'm doing myself a favor to guard my mind from so much that drags us from Him. i like to say, "i'm training for my next lifetime".

but that's where i am at the moment.
