What a good idea for a thread! I think it may be more fun though if people try to guess who they are impersonating. I do hope that no one is offended by this. They do say that imitation is a form of flattery. Still, there will be those that will be offended, unfortunately. I say, if they want to be offended, they should just go to the BDF.

There are a lot of people I could post as. I could make a post of my cooking adventures and try to be Catman...but that could also be Shour or Gypsygirl or a number of others. Even MissCris has been sharing some of her successes in the kitchen. I'm so happy to have a lot of places to crash, um...er...mooch, um...er visit across the country where people are so knowledgeable about food! I myself tried to cook a bunch of make-ahead meals for the next couple of weeks to freeze and it didn't come out anything like the picture blah blah blah, blah-bitty-blah blah.

True. Sometimes we get too confident talking in here that we forget it's a public space for everyone to see, so I'm sorry (CC friends and lurkers) if I, or my friends have offended anyone. I assure you guys, it's all light-hearted humor and in no way intended to make others feel bad. Pardon us if we can be insensitive sometimes PM is always open if you wish to remind us.

To be completely honest, when I first read Catherder's post about me, I thought, "Well... Maybe it's a 'subtle' hint that I should stop writing threads... Because I guess that's how I really sound to people?" I know it was all in fun but I did take it into serious consideration. I don't like the thought of wasting people's time.

Like most people here, I've considered leaving CC on and off throughout the years for various reasons... But, I always figure my writings can always be put on "Ignore" or there is always the option to not read them.

But I'm always extremely grateful to the people who read and, even more importantly to me, provide their own insights.

ESPECIALLY because it was from a friend... and I went through a lot of feelings of self-doubt--but sometimes that can be a good thing, because it forces a person to make an honest self-evaluation.

Well, as long as those dolls... are action figures. I never liked dolls and never owned a Barbie doll in my life. Nothing against them, just not my thing at all.

I was much more interested in my brother's toys than "girl" things, and was excited when we both got lightsabers for Christmas one year. I was always into pretending I was shooting something or striking it down... I usually chose comic books, Legos, and play guns over most "girl" toys any day.

As far as "giggling" over "boys", sure, I used to do that... when I was in about 6th grade.
