Oh dear. If the world will be saved because of my limb, then yes. I'm just glad that only Jesus saves. Not my limb. So no.

I just wonder who would buy my foot for that much. I've not been sitting around all my life, that foot has got some miles on it.

No, but I would cause serious bodily injury to someone if I saw them pay the $20 million.

Sure. Why not?
I'd just give it all to charity.

It would have to be my left foot........I use the right one to type.

Yeah, but you use your left foot to bathe and shave.

And if you should sell that foot? Ain't nobody wanna see what happens after that!

Please, Reborn.

Keep both feet.

I admire the people who talk about giving the money to charity but...

I do a lot of running around at work. I'd rather keep both my feet, earn a living the way I do now, and give away part of what I already bring home.

So, it obviously won't be $20 million.

But I think $20 earned with both feet and given away is just as valuable to God as $20 million after purposely amputating and selling a limb.

And, I'm with wwjd--I'll gladly donate any part of my body to anyone who needs it. However, the stipulation is that I have to DIE (be called home) first.

After much thought...

After re-reading a post in the "Pretend to Be Another Member", I would like to state that I've reconsidered my position on this important topic.

I would gladly sell Catherder's foot for $20 million.

And for the right price, you could even have a very handsome matching pair.

Okay, I will.

Thanks.
Just in time.

I will cancel my pretend appointment to have my foot removed, and send back that pretend 20 million dollar cheque.

So... this deserves a serious discussion. Because I'm honestly wondering how many of us would amputate a limb for money. Please feel free to provide background on why. (Grew up in poverty, would use it to better the world, need it to purchase a lifesaving organ from someone else who grew up in poverty and needs a quick $20 mil...)
Time to call the Dallas Police Department to warn them about The Limb Collector before it's too late!

Grace, I like your thread.

It leads us to think about the deeper meaning of life and definitely reminds us that we have so much to be thankful for!

Some things in life are beyond money... The things in life that are free like love, happiness and the Lord are far more precious than anything else.

Even our general health. We can't always buy these things.

Feet or no feet, I think of Nick Vujicic who was born with no limbs and preaches about God. He has brought comfort and encouragement to so many people.

Thanks for the thread Grace.

I wouldnt do it. Money isnt everything its just media for us to get easy facility. But without my food or limb all money in this world isnt worthy for them.
So i choose my foot and all my organs than money.
