Is it wrong to ask and Pray for friendships when you are alone ?

I was just wondering if it was wrong or sinful to ask for Godly Friendships during the times when I'm in solitude ? And is it wrong to want to seek out these friends or would it be wiser to let God bring these people into my life .

Why would it be wrong? God tells us to bring all things before him. All things! I believe he is delighted that you want him to have a say in choosing your friends :)

Then again, you probably have to do something yourself
I'm not very good at making friends myself, so I don't quite know how it works :p what I do know is it involves going where people go. Preferably where the right "kind of" people go (although one can be surprised at who one meets where).

There is nothing wrong what's so ever seeking friendship. No better friend you can ask for is Jesus, But I know God can put forward someone in your path and life.

It's not wrong to pray for friends. I wonder, though, perhaps there are people who are trying to be your friend, yet you only go to them when things are going bad?

No, there's nothing wrong with asking God for friendships. Forgive the cheesy churchism, but He didn't create us to do life alone. Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep your eyes open. I met one of my closest friends at a Starbucks one night when I was lonely as all getout and not even expecting a friend at that time.

I think is not wrong ask God, I pray for this too, because I was feeling said alone, but now I just trust in God and I fell better, I know I will marry with a good man who good prepared for me. Pray for this and really believe, God can make the best for you. I wish that God bless you.
