Last night I went to a local pub that I visit 1-2 times a month. I always park on a side street because the main street is very busy. As I pulled up there was a parking space on the busy street right in front of the pub and I considered parking there, but something told me to park a block away on a quite side street.

An hour later there was a horrific sound. Turns out a drunk driver smashed into two parked cars in front of the pub where I considered parking. Had I parked there, my car would have been hit. I'm bummed out for the folks who had their cars damaged, but obviously I'm grateful it wasn't my car. I'm also grateful no one was injured.

My gut tells me I am hungry and I trust it:b but all jokes aside I have felt him inside me within my stomach area before, I was a new believer and had yet to learn about false teachers at least enough to be able to discen them and I was watching t.v. late at night on a Christian channel and this man comes on who appears to be healing ppl and selling holy water that helps you to heal. I felt a horrible feeling inside my gut it was strange it wasn't fear but it was a very similar feeling to fear maybe it more like uneasiness? But anyways I went online to check this guy out after I had shut off the t.v. and it turned out he has been proven many times already to be a false teacher and has robbed many of their money and his wife helped expose him

Good call on that one, Brother. I'm glad your gift of discernment was on high alert. And thanks for sharing; may everyone who reads this learn a thing or two about wolves in sheep's clothing.

God is so wonderful! Amen to your well being, and others..and that only material items were damaged!

It's good you listened when you heard Him speak.

Glad you and your car are okay, bro. Do you think everything happens for a reason?

It's a question I am grappling with, too. I think everything happens to us for a reason, but not EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS in the universe. Our actions also have consequences, and those may be intended or unintended.

I gotcha. It seems like a black or white type of issue.

I don't think everything happens for a reason, but some things, many things, yes indeed. The attitude and outlook of both people who's cars were hit were totally righteous. They were simply happy no one was hurt. That's really cool, and a valuable lesson for all to learn.

I don't know if it's the Holy Spirit every time my intuition speaks up, but when it does, I listen. Sometimes it's something small, like do this thing or go down that street, and sometimes it's something bigger, like this person's good friend material and that one I might want to steer clear of. 95, 98% of the time, it's right on the money.

Amen to this. We can't go wrong when we take time to listen. Thanks for sharing.

Find a different pub? :p

But yeah, good that they weren't too hung up on having to replace some windows.

There's always a new pub to find! Ooh rah!

Amen to not being possessed by one's possessions. Jesus has a little to say about that, doesn't He. :)

Yep, sounds like you got a case of Stomachus Auris, or what is commonly known as stomach ears.

Here is copy of a copy of a simulated MRI of showing what it looks like. If you look closely, on each side of the stomachus you can see the appendage called auris, yet some evolutionist claim that stomachus auris has left them questioning their belief since the data unquestionably demonstrates that the images are created.

But on a serious note, if you haven't heard about Thomas Paine's writings regarding the two distinct classes of thought, it is a very interesting read.
