What kind of qualities do men consider when they are first attracted to a woman? What kind of personality do you look for? If you say you want a woman whom is caring, do you expect her to be there to find creative ways to help you through your struggle or unless you've asked her to, then you welcome her ideas?

She has to like me for me. So, she would be a woman that actually likes Israel (my name). Also, she should respect me greatly as-well.

Should've been first but I'll scream it at the top of my lungs.. no matter how obvious it is... a woman who is devoted to G-d. I mean full blown 100% all out for G-d. I mean she reads her bible, prays, and doesn't mind talking about G-d. She will give up all things of the world... movies, money, nice clothes, all relationships, etc. all for G-d. This also means she is not liberally leaning because it's crystal clear that the liberal ideology supports unG-dly things such as homosexuality and abortion. Also, feminism stems from that and feminism promotes the idea that men shouldn't lead their families and that's exactly what G-d wants. Scripture clearly states that women are to look to the home as shown in Proverbs 31 and feminism and liberalism for that matter would be against that.

A woman that is in agreement with the above things is probably all any man needs really. If she loves and respects a man for who he is... and isn't infected by liberalism or feminism and instead is all out for G-d.. that's all any man needs really.

It be nice if she were clean too lol

I thought I had a reasonably fitting model woman conjured up in my mind at one point. Then I met a girl that seemed to come awfully close to that pipe-dream, and I couldn't fall in love with her. The experiences I held with previous girls were what lead me to construct this "model woman," yet I was able to fall for the previous girls. The heart is fickle...

That said, while I believe it's equitable to desire things like respectfulness, stability - basically garden variety fundamentals - I also believe it's best to keep our head in the present, not in the clouds with our notions of the perfect significant other. Entertaining reverie can be fun, but it's escapism.

I am looking for a woman who can stay at home, take care of the kids, do all the household work and keep food ready for me when I come home after a long day at work.

I'm not asking for too much, am I?

Not at all, but you may need to look in the 1920s. Lol.

I personally have no idea. LOL There are times I know what I want. Then I find out I was wrong. Its not that I'm picky, I just really have no clue. So, unfortunately, I cant really speak to this subject. I would hope I would know it when I see it. Just being honest.

I think it's important to bring these verses to the thread...

Proverbs 31:10-31

[SUP]10 [/SUP]Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

While we see much here that defines a virtuous woman... I like to note for myself and other men... what kind of man the husband of this virtuous woman was on verse 23. The elders are leaders and if I remember correctly the gates were where the judges judged. This chapter may be giving men what kind of men to be. Verse 26,27, 28, and verse 30 seemed to be the best at describing her. She is an amazing woman and if any woman wants take a role model, her she is.

Gotquestions said some things about the gates VVV

What is the significance of a city gate in the Bible?

I would like a woman who is a deaf mute, born without a tongue.

For her to express any anger issues with me, she we would need to gesticulate them.

A woman who places her cookies on the lower shelf to those who can't reach by being mentally or otherwise challenged. She looks pass the broken bodies and general ugliness to see the soul within.

One who is modest in her character and sexuality, she knows the power she has with me, sexually, and doesn't flaunt it.

She seeks to meet the needs of my tri-part being as I do to her, what needs we can't reach because they are in God's domain, we pray.

I visited a dating site for a few days. I put in my profile: if you're looking for a virtuous housewife keep on looking!

I'm not a man but I know what they are looking for: a good smell from not washing for a week, a lot of complaining, they love it when you're desperate and clingy and when you don't care one bit about your looks, talk all day long about your ex, bad mouth them and they love someone who wants to boss them around and give 'em a new rule every day. They especially like it when all is about me and myself. Oh and I just learned that they love it when you generalize them, as in: all you men...

And when you keep messaging them the whole day. Lol I recently spoke to a guy for 3 weeks and it was all going great, but then booom. Lol I thanked him. He wasn't the one anyway and I learned so much from it. Don't be clingy. Don't share your complete past with a total stranger. Don't become emotional. If you don't have friends just go post on a forum. Talking to someone else now. Until now I haven't ruined it.

I've been talking to one right now and I've been trying not to scew screw it up. Not even dating as we're only just friends. I just care about her enough to not ruining anything so we can still be friends. But to answer the op, each man is different. I think being a Christian would be a good start, or else How will two believers build their relationship?
